Hi Dee, you can currently only gather Friend ID’s from the Browse and Search pages. Were you trying to gather them from anywhere else besides those two places?

I installed the program. Once I type in my username and password the certificate error message comes up just like it would in Firefox or IE but on gogo I cant get past that screen. I click “Continue to this website” but it does nothing. Please help

If you’re not aware, recently I have noticed alot of computers have recieved an update of some sort that displays a “There is a problem with the website’s certificate” page, that says, “We recomend you close this webpage and do not comtinue to this website”. Its gives three options: Close this webpage, continue to this website, and more information(this is extremely common and almost on every website you enter personal information). When I click “Continue to this website” I hear the Internet Explorer sound that lets me know I selected the option, but my home page will not load, it will not go past that screen. I have searched forum after forum looking for a way to disable the error message, and tried many things, but it will not go away. I’m not sure of the cause of the message, but I assume a windows or Internet Explorer update some time in the past. Its a very tough problem I know, but I would love to try out the software your team has created. Thanks, Chris
P.S. The Gogoadder program is the only browser that I have had a problem getting past the error message in, I just click continue with no strings attached. Again, with your software, it sticks, none of the buttons work other than “more information”.

Chris, GoGoAdder is not intended or recommended to be used as a web browser, this is neither practical or secure. GoGoAdder is strictly for navigating MySpace.com and adding friends.

I’ve never ventured away from myspace’s home page on gogoadder. What would be the point in that?
I followed your link, tried their suggestion and still the problem presists.
The program does not work when the website has certificate issues. Unless gogoadder was built on the IE platform I dont see how that link could have helped.
Is there any other suggestion you have? I know its the program is not a general browser, nor have I used it as one but it should work just the same in the aspect that it should not get stuck on the error page and the continue button should work.

Although Yes, the navigation of GoGoAdder is built upon the Internet Explorer platform or .NET Framework, this doesn’t appear to be an issue with GoGoAdder itself, but strictly IE (which we have no control over).
If this were a problem with the Program then everyone would be experiencing this on the XP IE7 setup. What we recommend is that you completely uninstall GoGoAdder, then open up IE and clear the Browsing History.
To do so:
Tools >> Delete Browsing History… >> Delete all… >> Check the box and click Yes >> Now close IE
Now run a Microsoft Update (not a Windows Update):

Update everything you can; Windows, IE, Office, .NET Framework, especially your Root Certificates, anything related to your system, etc. You don’t need to update sound and video cards, printer drivers or anything like that if you don’t want to. Once you’ve restarted your computer, run Microsoft Update again.
Now, reinstall GoGoAdder and make sure to give it full permissions if you use a Firewall.
Let us know your findings.

Hi Root Depth, it’s believed that you could be caught through entering CAPTCHA’s if the program tried to bypass it or brute force it, which could result in several fails and raise a red flag.
That is why we have it setup for you to manually enter CAPTCHA’s. This is probably the biggest thing that makes GoGoAdder safer. Unfortunately, it is always possible for your account to be deleted. But, if you follow the guidelines set here, you should be fine.

Hi pinpin, MySpace’s “Log In” button isn’t actually apart of GoGoAdder. We’ve just tested it and it’s working fine. It’s likely that you were just experiencing internet problems or MySpace was busy at the time you tried to sign in.

you can use the trial version of friendblasterpro to extract all 75 pages of friendid’s easily until the person who created this updates the software (unless its been done already)
I don’t see my previous messages on here but I am the one that was having a problem with the missing scroll bar at the bottom and couldn’t type in the captra on sign in because half the letters were missing off to the right. I uninstalled the program and just reinstalled the program and now I have a scroll bar at the bottom and everything is fine. Just thought I would let you know. Hi, yes it is very inconvenient that GoGoAdder is much slower than it was before. However and unfortunately we have no control over MySpace making updates to their website and we have to adapt as best as we can.
For now you’ll just need to begin the gathering process that takes roughly 7 minutes and then just take a break or work on something else in the meantime. Once all the ID’s are gathered friend adding should work smoothly and at the same pace as before.
We’re hoping that once we are funded for GoGoAdder 2 we may be able to provide a much more efficient and speedy tool. We are doing the best that we can.

This seems to be a fake comment possibly from one of our competitors, but I’ll address it anyways.
This idea is completely ridiculous, GoGoAdder does not collect or save ANY personal data. It doesn’t even save your MySpace login or password.
You will of course receive a prompt from your firewall asking if it is okay for GoGoAdder to have access to the internet. This is common for ANY program that needs internet access.
Please make sure that you download GoGoAdder from:

which is currently the only official and safe place to download it. If anyone really has received any such prompts from their firewall when using the official GoGoAdder from the above link then please provide screenshots or other proof.

I can’t get the thing to work. i log in and go to browse. I hit gather IDS and it says at the bottom that it is, but the column remains empty. It will do this infinitely, above 350. When I try to hit it again to stop, it just starts over from 0. help

Hi Nick, the program does work. However the ID Gathering process is very slow after MySpace made some changes.
It’ll take about 7 minutes to gather all the ID’s and they won’t show in the column to the left until it has finished.
Friend adding should go just as smooth as before.
Because everything we offer is free, we’re only funded through donations and out of our own pockets.

Hey Guys, i just wanted to tell ya great job on the program! It’s not easy to find a good friend adder, much less a free one ^_^
As for improvements i know myspace is constantly updating so there nothing we can do about that, and considering that, GoGoMyspace is pretty exceptional when it comes to compatibility.
The only thing that i can think of to improve the prog is to give the browser a new design, besides that maybe a few minor adjustment so that it uses a bit less RAM… but besides that i love this program and i plan to use it for quite awhile ^_^
Question- why can’t you gather friend ID’s from someone’s friend list? This would be a good improvement for the next update.

This is often a sign that MySpace has put a block on adding friends on your account. You should stop adding for a while and see if it get’s lifted.

You need to wait much longer than one day, AT LEAST a week. Keep in mind that your account may be blocked permanently. The only way to know is to stop adding for a while.
How many friend requests were you making within a 24 time frame? If you were requesting anymore than 350 daily than this is definitely the problem. Keep in mind since it is a computer/programming spam system the 24 hours is quite literal.
If you finished adding one day at 5pm, you cannot add the next day until after 5pm, if you began any earlier you would definitely overdue it and cause a red flag on your account.

Here’s our best advise on the subject; you should wait 24 hours + 5 minutes (just to be safe) before you begin adding again.
So, say Tuesday, you start adding at 12am (ignore this time). Only take note of the time you finish requesting. Let’s say you finish requesting at 12:47am, that means that you should wait until Wednesday at 12:52am to start adding again.
Naturally, this will keep pushing the time forward and this may be difficult for your schedule. We’re sorry for this but we’re not affiliated with MySpace and have absolutely no control of what goes on, on their end.
GoGoAdder is no longer as efficient as it once was and we’re not properly funded to go forward with GoGoAdder 2. If GoGoAdder has been helpful in your productivity you may consider donating (link found upper right).
Also, just a note, even staying at a safe margin of adding you may still be marked as spam by the receivers of friend requests. Even if your Art is completely legit and there is nothing spammy about what you’re doing, people still have a tendency to mark requests as spam simply because they don’t know you instead of just deleting it.

By definition of what MySpace, Facebook, Twitter etc. are, you’re doing exactly what is their original purpose, networking, syndication, socializing, word-of-mouth.
Some may disagree, but it’s a matter of perception and unfortunately people tend to perceive things in less than ideal ways.
We believe that the act of friend adding is legitimate if done in an appropriate way. A band trying to find new fans is without a doubt a legitimate use of MySpace.
SPAM / Scams are when you receive friend requests from fake users, often “hot” girls trying to sale you something or gain your personal information for example.
We believe that the bottom line is that as long as you have something with substance, that’s safe and appropriate, then it is legitimate to use friend adding software to assist you in networking.

To our knowledge the program was no longer functioning properly.
Could you please describe what operating system you’re on (2000, XP, Vista etc.) and what version/service pack, and possibly what Internet Explorer version, .NET Framework and so on?

Thought you should know that, although your site says you’re down, I’m successfully using the program. The only problem is, during the gathering process, between ever 5-50 ids gathered, it will go to a “this page cannot be displayed” page. But once, I hit the “back” button, it continues where it left off. Though, it’s glitchy and slow, it’s definitely better than nothing, especially since the problems can be understood, seeing as your having funding issues. Good luck on getting funding.
